Extended bio - back to short bio
In 2017, throughout pre-production and principal photography, I worked as the previs editor on Aladdin for Walt Disney
(Dir. Guy Ritchie). Based at Longcross Studios, I worked closely with the VFX supervisor, previs and VFX vendors, producers and director, editing previs, animatics and live-action plates along with sound, music and dialogue for the key action and musical sequences. During pre-production I also worked with Guy Ritchie, the producers and studio execs, editing test scenes that were used to cast the lead actors.
Previous to Aladdin, between 2015 to 2017, I worked on the widely anticipated AAA video game, Star Citizen: Squadron 42. Created by legendary games developer Chris Roberts, I moved between London and LA editing scenes and performances shot by performance capture that will feature throughout the game. I worked from over 800 hours of performance capture footage, including: reference cameras, face cameras, production audio and real time previs and I edited over 350 speaking parts including performances from Gary Oldman, Mark Hamill, Andy Serkis, Gillian Anderson and many more.
As the lead editor I was also responsible for managing a team of two assistants who helped me create and facilitate an editorial workflow that took us from multiple shoots at The Imaginarium Studios, to edit, through to our immense turnover process which supplied the production's vendors, animation studios and audio teams across three countries.
Squadron 42 has over a million players already pledging their support. It has raised over $170 million and is by far the highest grossing crowd-funded project in history. In 2016, Avid interviewed me about my editing process on Squadron 42 for their customer stories section on their website, which you can read here.
In 2014 I edited, 'The Quiet Hour', a sci-fi thriller feature film, starring Dakota Blue-Richards (The Golden Compass) which enjoyed a successful festival run including 2 wins and 5 nominations at festivals such as, Raindance, Galway Film Fleadh, Newport Beach Film Festival, Twin Cities Film Festival, Sofia Intnl Film Festival and more. It has since gained distribution in both the UK and North America.

Other film projects in 2014 include Avengers: Age of Ultron (Joss Whedon, Marvel Studios) where I worked with Andy Serkis' company, The Imaginarium Studios, heading up on-set performance capture editorial at Shepperton Studios, and, The Legend of Tarzan (David Yates, Warner Bros) where I joined editorial as an additional assistant editor.

Other editing credits include a BAFTA sponsored short film which gained a theatrical release, BAFTA nominated Children's TV for the BBC, a range of other short films nominated and awarded at international festivals and a huge selection of pitch winning films for some of London's leading advertising agencies.
Please feel free to get in touch - it would be great to meet you.
