Michael is a hard-working, technically versatile editor who has gained diverse experience in multiple disciplines including advertising, documentary and drama for both broadcast and non-broadcast platforms. Since starting in the industry he has built a reputation for his reliable, can-do attitude, as well as, possessing a keen eye for detail and creative flair. In 2009, he co-edited a series of educational mini dramas for the BBC Learning Zone. This received a BAFTA nomination at the Children’s BAFTA awards later that year. Issues covered include: bullying, peer pressure and sex, appropriate behaviour, online safety, stranger danger, dealing with feelings, team work, personal safety, independence, social skills, friends and relationships.
